We could never compete without the support of Ocaima.

New look for European VNO Ocaima

15/03/2011

Ocaima, the successful European Virtual Network Operator based in Barcelona, is celebrating almost ten years of trading with a fresh, vibrant new corporate identity and website.

The human touch

The new identity came about because, as company CEO Celia Felipe explains, ‘we felt it was time for a change and also wanted to get across the human touch which our clients tell us sets us apart and makes their lives easier. It’s all about listening and adapting.’

Celia continues, ‘our new strapline is “Virtual networks. Real people”, which says it all.’

European provider, global connections

There are two key elements to Ocaima’s vision.

As Celia explains, ‘companies compete globally today but there’s no real homogeneity in the telecommunications market. There are also a sometimes bewildering number of local providers and players in specific territories. We will manage a company’s global network and offer the best solutions in every location.’

The challenges are the same for Ocaima’s Internet Service Provider (ISP) and carrier clients. ISPs and carriers have to provide global solutions and stay competitive. Ocaima helps extend their reach into Europe and beyond and offer their clients the right solutions.

It’s not about size

Reaching ISPs with Small Medium Enterprises (SME) customers is integral to Ocaima’s vision.

‘Our clients include some of the world’s biggest names but plenty of SMEs also require global network services,’ Celia says. ‘We’re saying that any company, regardless of size, can subscribe to a globally managed network through Ocaima. SMEs also benefit from the fact that we’ve had to more than meet the demanding standards of our global operator clients so our quality levels and capabilities are extremely high.’

And the future? ‘Our aim is to be the preferred European partner for carriers, ISPs, systems integrators and companies of all sizes who need a VPN of any capacity.’
